Welcome to EMSA Bari!
Together, we will build something new and international in UniBa
Who We Are
The European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) is a European network connecting over 50,000 medical students across 30 countries and 130+ faculties. Built on the core values of democracy, equality, and mutual respect, EMSA acts as a powerful voice for future doctors within European Medical Organisations.
As a newly formed Faculty Member Organisation (FMO), EMSA Bari is a student-run, non-profit, and apolitical organisation dedicated to transforming the medical student experience at UniBa for all students.
We welcome all medical students studying at Bari in an English-language based environment.
Through this organisation, we hope to build a friendly, inclusive and supportive community which can bridge the gap between the medical student classes - both from the Italian and English courses.
Our Goal
To enhance the medical student experience at UniBa through a variety of opportunities - local and international.
To organise English-based activities such as ADEs, workshops, peer-learning sessions and skill-based training.
To improve accessibility and integration for international students by creating a supportive community.
To represent a voice of the international students studying medicine at UniBa, increasing the overall access to educational and occupational opportunities throughout the 6 year medicine course.
What Sets Us Apart
We are the first English-focused student organization at UniBa that integrates medical education, international mobility, public health advocacy, and continental representation into a single, unified framework. We aim to bridge our local university life with a massive European network, and encourage our peers to build clinical skills, access international opportunities, and be priactive in their medical studies, during and beyond university.
